Where did September go? Didn't we just begin our school year yesterday?
Yesterday we spent a portion of the day with some other homeschoolers at a Fall Harvest Party. It is always good to get together with like minded people and have an excuse to do it in the middle of the 'work week'.
The celebrations were a little muted for me as I've had to drug myself for the past 3 days to cope with the worst head cold I've had in years. I've been plugging along and thanking God that my husband has been home to help me and allow me to sleep in. I'm not looking forward to when any of the children start to show signs of harboring this wicked bug. The only benefit is that it just may slow them down long enough to cuddle with me for a while ;)
The battery on my camera has also died. I'm not sure which is worse. No camera I think.
Other than that my spirits are feeling renewed. Fall is my favorite time of the year here on the farm. The scenery is amazing. Thanksgiving around here is always a great time, and we are in the planning phase for the second annual Halloween community wagon ride.
So that's it. I'm alive...barely but slowly on the mend.

Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better! The house just runs SO much more smoothly when mom feels like herself!!
I can't believe it's October already either. Man, time flies!! I never believed my mom when she told me eventually I'd think so, but it looks like she knew what she was talking about!
