THROWBACK THURSDAY

Here are some pics of my brother and I....

Some things never change. Cardboard boxes, reading and puzzles. Wow. The styles may have changed over the years but certainly not the fun and love.

I LOVE the Bugs Bunny and Tweety show wallpaper!!!! and you can always tell the decade by my mother. She was/is always very stylish...like the Dorothy Hamill Haircut, the HUGE glasses, and the very short shorts....go Mom!




This last shot is of my parents. My mom is pregnant here with either my brother or me...not sure which. So she is either 25 or 27, and my Dad would be 27 or 29.

I have to admit...my Mom was STYLIN!! I just love the pink dress.

A Blast From My Past!!

Ha! Ha! That is me on the right. I was 15 and in the Army Cadets if you can believe it. I was part of the 'elite' first aid team. I joined because there was a cute guy who was running it. Not the guy in the picture...I think the guy taking the picture.

Anyway, the cute guy who took the pic was a few years older than me. He was off to University to take Kinesiology (the study of the human body). This was the first I had ever heard of this degree and two years later I signed up to go to the same school he did in the same degree program.
I have to admit that his cuteness played a huge factor in my choosing this school and program. So funny but so sad at the same time. There were other reasons I chose this path but really....he was the reason I remembered the program for two years!!

Funny how God puts people in our paths that influence us to make certain decisions. Obviously I was meant to go to Western....and no I never ran into him :(
