Come join my Pitty Party

I know, you are probably sick of checking and not seeing a new post. I don't blame you. I've been a tad busy. Actually I have to admit that for the first time in a long long time I admit defeat. I just can't keep up and the past few months have thrown me right off my pedestal. Some normal stuff, some spring stuff, some crazy stuff that I really don't want to talk about on here.

I'm here. I'm alive, but I sheepishly must admit that I am barely surviving these days on so many levels. The tank is just empty. Welcome to my pitty party. I'll get over it. I'll be honest with you about 3 things:

1) I don't think I have been myself since before Audrey was born. In fact I don't recognize myself anymore.

2) I feel as though I am being attacked on quite a few levels. I don't know what it is or what lesson I'm supposed to learn but I just don't know how much more I can take.

3) I resolve to never resolve to do anything again...like make a new years resolution about just going with the flow of things and not 'complaining about the weather, cause I can't fix it'. Because if I do I will be TESTED the entire year....or at least for the first half and then after a while start to curl up in a ball in the corner of my room.

On a more pleasant (because I really don't want to talk about it note...) I DO have some great pictures. Here let me check my computer so see if I've taken any off my computer. let's see...be back in a sec..

O.K yes here are a couple for your viewing pleasure.

My garden. Used fence, left of Hydro one wood chips, and seeds planted!! REAL SEEDS!!

My friend Anita came over and rescued me. I love my friends. I really really do. Not because they go out of their way to help me, but because they really do know me and what I need. I seriously am blessed with good friends.

OH, and great kids as well. see the sign at the gate? it was made by Lara with her hammer, nails and wood that she received for her birthday...

104...Now 103 Meat chickens. This is day one. I think we are on week 2?

The kids playing wedding in the upstairs hallway. This is the ring bearer, can't you tell? I just LOVE the tie.

This of course is baby Audrey who is turning 9months tomorrow. She stands up on her own now, walks along furniture and is determined to every bit of paper in the house.

That's it. I have lot's of plans and thoughts and fun things coming up. thanks for still tuning in. I'll get my life together soon.

I know we don't know each other well (or even really at all :) but if you ever need help picking or doing things around your farm I would love to help. I could think of it as a learning experience for when I am lucky enough to have my own garden / chickens, etc!

Thanks Meghan. I appreciate that. You are more than welcome to come out any time you would like. I love visitors. Just let me know. I don't have to put you to work. the work right now is stuff like cleaning out a chicken coop, building a nesting box, covering the tree line with wood chips to get rid of the poison parsnips and thistles... Not nice work at all!
So you don't have to work...you can just look at the work while drinking coffee/water with me in the sunporch ;)

I am just so glad you are back..I was getting worried to be honest, but thought perhaps your silence from this world was an indication you needed silence all around and some time to be. I think the next time you are silent on this space for so long, I am coming to get you-whether that is what you want or not!

Praying for you and for everyone around you-please, if you need anything-just a chat, a drop off of the kids so you can do something without the extra appendages, a hot cup of tea-well, anything-please call me......
