Friday...and What a Friday it was

This is the only picture I managed to snap yesterday. This is my little man eating his oatmeal which he does EVERY morning. This is HIS chair, HIS spoon, and HIS Blueberries on them.

He woke up at 3am and was struggling to breathe. I was going to take him to the hospital but he fell asleep so Adam just slept with him. In the morning he was just a little wheezy so we called the doc and got an appoint for the afternoon.

Mom stayed with him and the baby and the big girls and I grocery shopped and went to the chiropractor. We had lunch, I put the 2 little ones to bed, the girls played on their own and I ate lunch and tried to watch The Young and the Restless.

Off to the doctor in the afternoon. Peyton got worse during that time and off to the hospital we went. 5:30pm we returned with a croup/pneumonia diagnosis and medicine in hand. I spent 3 hours holding a 2 year old. Poor little fella.

supper, stories,cuddles and bedtime.

Checked on the chickens, read the paper and to bed I went.

That was my Friday. I should have taken my camera with me. The look on Peyton's face when he noticed the chairs in emerge were blue and the lead apron I wore for the chest x-ray was also blue were funny. Seriously...what's up with the obsession with blue??

Now for the Weekend....

Aww indeed, hope he is feeling better. Nothing worse than one of your kids sick I'm quickly learning!

Croup is not fun in any way at all... with Seamus' asthma, he is very prone to croup. we have made so many trips to the hospital with him. I really don't think there is anything scarier when your child can't breathe..

Good luck and hopefully he is feeling better quickly.

oh and the blue obsession-well, that's just funny.
