Oh The Weather Outside is Frightful....

A wicked wind blew in over the back field this afternoon, bringing with it a quick thunderstorm and down pour. This picture does not capture how dark it became or how hard the wind was blowing. I actually expected to see hail.


I just sat in my sunporch with my feet up, the paper and my tea. It was nice. Serene...quiet. Just the sound of the wind and rain.

Unfortunately it did not last long enough. The rain OR the peace and quiet. I miss my husband today. Him AND my oldest daughter.
