Would Anne be proud?

Now that laundry hanging season is in full swing, I can be found looking like THIS most of the time.

Hmmmm. Practical I know, but not very Anne of Green Gables like is it? Perhaps I'll have to knit myself a little holder for these things and attach it to the laundry pole outside. I think Anne would be proud of THAT! no?

I bought a little bag thing at walmart that attaches to the line. It is a life saver lol. Otherwise, I would so look like that. I tried everything from an apron to clipping to my shirt and non of them really worked for me lol. Enjoy the spring air!

I think Anne would be very proud, lovely colourful pins, I use the plain old brown wooden ones. I think I'll have to replace them with colourful ones when these ones die off so to speak.

I don't use one of these little gizmos to hold clothespins but you can purchase a little baggy affair that literally hangs on your clothes line. Oh, I see your other "commentator" said that already. I use a small plastic tub that I keep in my laundry basket along with a cloth for cleaning off the cobwebs! and when my grandchildren come over they use this to container to toss the pins in, I'll bet your kids would like to do that too! Marksmanship!

Too funny! I have a lil sack that is sewn onto a hanger that you hang from the clothesline and holds all my clothespins! I love line dried clothes!!!! :) My sack is small and green and ugly though...i would like to sew a new one..someday! LOL

You have such awesome clothespins!! I actually thought you were wearing a silk scarf around your neck at first! Then when you mentioned looking "like this" for laundry, I looked closer and realized what it was. Duh. I think Anne would be proud of you if you got yourself a cute little apron with pockets that could hold those things, too. There's some awesome sites out there for cute aprons.

I have my grandmother's clothes pin holder. It looks like the bodice of a dress sewn onto a hanger. Very cute in an old fashioned kind of way. I'm sure she made it.

I totally need a vintage housewife apron--I just wasn't willing to pay the $30 for the ones I've seen. Did you find a better deal?

I just leave my clothespins pinned to the line. Apparently I'm the only one...

Love the look however.

Until the apron arrives, Dollarama has clothespin bags.
They are a buck so you can leave it right on the line adn not feel guilty about wrecking it!
But am loving your look!
