All was well until I made it inside and pulled my glove off.
Apparently I tore the skin off my finger...and the Army Medic in me OF COURSE was a little fascinated and had to take pictures.....
So this is my finger....it is called an Avulsion for you wannabe medical folk. That is the term for when the skin is peeled back but left on.
Yes that is blood but more importantly that is what my finger looks like without the skin...pretty cool huh?
Being a medic and having 3 kids in the country, I have all kinds of cool bandages lying around. This one is a sterile 'second skin' that will keep out the bugs but allow my wound to heal itself.
And this is my finger all bandaged up so I can still type. Who knew I pressed the e key so much??? My bandage3e is so big I'm having a hared etime34 enoet pre34ssing othe34r buttons......see?
Anyway I'm o.k...thanks for asking...and yes my finger has always been that crooked.
