The Puzzle that Taunts me

I am a type A personality... You can tell by the way I do puzzles.
I start off great. All relaxed and excited about the prospect of having a 'project' to work on day in and day out...to leave it and come back to it. But then it takes over my life and I can think of nothing else until it is complete.
It's sad really.

You see I've been saving this puzzle FOREVER for the winter weather so I could justify sitting for an hour at a time in my dining room.

The problem is that I just can't leave things incomplete....it drives me BONKERS!!!

So...I broke the puzzle down into stages just so I could take it slow, take time to feed my children, and not hurt my eyeballs.

So....day one I finished the edge...and then I just had to walk away...

Then....slowly I would complete other parts. Like the house, then the barn, then the trees ect. It was soooooo hard to walk away. I just HAD TO FIND THAT NEXT PIECE!!
I left it in the dining room which helped. That way every time I walked by it would TAUNT ME WITH IT'S INCOMPLETENESS....I think I even started dreaming about Peyton eating one of the pieces so I would go crazy looking for it.

And here it is.....ahhhhhhh what satisfaction.(took me a week I think...so much for a winter long project) What accomplishment. I got the same feeling after tackling the dust in my living room. Now...I can rest and move on to other things.

But now what do I do with this puzzle? Stare at it when I walk by and breathe a sigh of relief? no because now there is something else in my house I will need to dust.

Its a beautiful puzzle!Nice job! I enjoy doing puzzles and Im the same way..once you start, its hard to stop. I got one of those green roll up mats, where you can do the puzzle on it, then roll it up when you need to take a break. Its great because it doesnt stare at me to finish it. And i can take it our when I have some extra time(not that i really no what that is).oh, and sorry for any typos. For some reason, I can only see half the screen when i am typing in the comment box, and i dont know how to enlarge the screen(it wont allow be to maximize it for some reason).

I miss doing puzzles. I used to love them before kids and a cat.
