Yup I'm a Blonde

That is right. I...Alyson of very dark hair decided to treat myself at the salon yesterday and become a blonde. I would put a pic on with my hair down but I find after a trip to the hair dresser it just never does what I want. You just can't fuss with curly hair and to be honest I find it looks so much better when it is NOT washed. Go figure.

So I've given up the idea that this baby will make his presence known soon. So I got the camera out of the hospital bag, made a hair appointment and had a pot luck at our house last night. Why not. All things can be cancelled if need be.

This week there is only one important appointment that I don't really want to miss. We are signing all the papers for our new house that we take possession of next week!!!! Yay!!
Guaranteed THAT WILL BE THE DAY HE ARRIVES :)

Oh well. As long as he arrives at some point I suppose.

The potluck was fun. A little sad though as it was our last get together as a Bible study group. We have been hosting small group bible study in our home since we moved here. I will be sad to have to start over in our new town, but I'm sure the Lord has something planned for us.

I find Small groups is such a great way to grow as a christian. You get to study God's word, ask questions and get to know other people in church on such a more intimate level. It is so nice to have a support network of people who are praying for you and supporting you in your daily walk. I am so grateful that we have been blessed with such good support here. Thank you Lord for that.

When I first became a christian God blessed me by surrounding me with seasoned christians, rich in their faith who had enough patience to tackle thousands of questions, and support Adam and I when we were first married.
When we moved here He set us up in a church filled with young married couples and we have been able to develop friendships and learn about Godly marriages and have support in raising our Godly babies :)
Thank you Lord for that as well.

I'm excited to see what kind of opportunities the Lord has prepared for us in our new town. What kind of friendships and adventures will be formed.

And I'm excited for when this baby is finally in our arms :) Thank you God for your perfect timing. Always giving us what we need when we need it.

I like your hair and you look great! It's really not fair that you look that good at 41 weeks pregnant while some of us (me) will scare small children in the third trimester!

Have a good day!
