A TIME OUT FOR ME :)

My Dad called me last night after reading my last couple of blogs and gave me a time out :) O.K so I deserved it.
I am going to call that lady today and appologize anyway. That is the right thing to do and I'm sure she will appreciate the gesture.

My Dad being the real estate expert of course told me everything Adam and I have been doing wrong with these people....can you fire an agent even if you sign a contract? I would love to find someone new and start over. If not I'll just stick to my guns from now on.
Lesson 1 Don't sign a contract for three months.
Lesson 2 Don't tell your Agent your bottom line.
Although we received a failing grade for both of those, I'll keep praying that we won't end of with two houses in June.
Note to Dad : If all fails and we don't sell this house you realize we are still going to beg you to help our poor souls right ?????????? Don't answer that, I'll just start to cry :)

Taking my fathers advice Adam and I really did take a time out last night and went on a date. We headed to the Keg for some munchies and wine(him)....oh how I wanted a martini.
Than we took a walk in the beautiful -1C weather around the outdoor rink and ducked into a new coffee shop called Sips. Our love for fabulous coffee shops has always kept us kindred spirits :)
Anyway, the tea was all loose and FABULOUS!! I have to say that I had the best Chai tea I've ever tasted in my life. I'm not kidding. Wow. I think I've just become a convert from bags to good tea.
Adam agreed that for the girly tea room we are going to purchase two smaller tea pots that you can infuse the loose leaf in and make 'real tea'. The pots we had at the shop easily serve two people each and kept the water hot. They will be a fabulous addition to the girly room. It is sooooo Anne of Green Gables !!!

Next week we have decided to go skating at the rink, than slip into the coffee shop for some more fabulous tea and cribbage. The best part was that it was Adam's idea. That was great since that is something we would have done when 'dating'.

Here is to Kindred spirits,
Alyson
