Un-Paper Towels.

I'm ALL about reusable stuff. It saves money and is good for the environment. Slowly over the years I have tried to cut down on waste as much as possible. I suppose going to the dump and having a septic system have helped in that department.

Most of you know I cloth diaper. I even use reusable diaper wipes. I do a yucky laundry load every couple of days because of this. SO.....

I was THRILLED when I found THIS SITE on Etsy.com. (OH how I love Etsy) The name of this Etsy store is Made in the Red Barn. They make and sell reusable PAPER TOWELS with the cutest dispenser I have ever seen. The best part is that they really do make the dispensers in their Red Barn. Have I ever mentioned my love for Etsy??? I love that ALL the money goes directly to the MAKER OF THE PRODUCT.

Here are my 'paper towels'....

The above is a sample of their naturally dyed coloured towels. I am using it in the kitchen right now to wipe Audrey's face.
Now..... For my review.
I've dusted with them (with just a little water to dampen them)
I've done my mirrors (with vinegar and water)
I've cleaned babies faces
I've washed them.
Result????
LOVE THEM!!!! I am hoping to never have to buy a paper towel again. Oh and for big spills? I've always just grabbed a kitchen towel anyway....
OH!! and if you want to be cheap....just don't buy the caddy. I admit that I really did not need it but got sucked into the cuteness factor. Just put them in a basket or a bag under your sink.

I love that shop! I've never bought anything, but I like to admire the pretty napkins and holders, lol :)
