I took the girls to see the Play Cinderella in town today. It was great to dress up and have a girly date. Yes that is me in wings and an old bridesmaid skirt. Who knew a bridesmaid dress would come in handy again?? Who cares that I was one of the only adults dressed up. The girls wanted me to and I couldn't care less what other people thought of me.
Those two girls? Now I care VERY much what they think and today I think they appreciated that their mom was a good sport.
They can be embarrassed all they want when they are older. I'll just tell them that their 5 and 7 year old selves loved it ;)
