Babywearing Mama

I love my wraps and slings. Especially when it is dark and cold out and I have a 6 week old baby that pretty much screams from 7-9pm EVERY NIGHT.

Instead of carrying her around or sitting on my butt watching t.v I decided to become an exercise video guru. She fell asleep in minutes and I got a great workout. This wrap is the Moby Wrap. She feels secure and it drapes over both of my shoulders so I don't have to hold her up at all. Funny enough this is also how I vaccuum and get supper done.

I love wraps and slings, too! I finally figured out how awesome they were when my youngest was 6 months or so, and now I think of all the time I could have had her in one back when she screamed for hours every night... I'm glad you are able to get things done, and even get a workout in!

THat is pretty much my one regret from my kids baby-hood, I didn't wear them. It would have made colic so much more bearable.

You look fantastic! Fussy periods are hard but I'm hoping it helps a little that the time period is predictable (i.e. you can plan for it) and that it's not in the middle of the night, as many of my friends' kids colicy periods seemed to be. Ella loved being worn and, at 3 1/2, still asks to be in the pouch on my hip :) Her 'love language' is definitely physical touch.

Oh, boy...my son was the same way! Lots of crying, starting around 5pm until 9ish, and putting him in the wrap was pretty much the only thing that made him stop. I didn't care if I had to wear him all evening...as long as the crying stopped, I'd lug him around for days if I had to! :)

You look awesome, by the way!!!

Found you at adventures in Babywearing - I wore my Naomi like this a lot at the beginning, especially over "arsenic hour" haha. Even now, at 7m when she's losing it, on my back she goes (she took a 90m nap on me a few days ago while I made dinner). :D Glad to see I'm not the only one who does housework with a baby on. Haha, in fact, yesterday I sprayed all our weeds with her on my back!
