Well...No spring chicks after all.
I tried, but the ugly hen was not happy in the coop by herself, so I put her back in with the rest of the chickens and threw out her eggs. ( I really did not want to know if they were partially fertilized) Maybe she was not brooding after all. Perhaps I'll try again some other time this spring.
On another note. My hens are all molting (losing their feathers for spring), and free ranging now so they have cut their egg production in half.
That is all I have today.

Glad you put her back with her girlfriends. She looked kinda sad.
