A Return

So....The Chicken has returned!!!!

and so has my appetite.

Adam went out to feed the chickens, went to the bin (which is outside the coop), and looky looky....a cute brown hen was staring up at him.

He claims it is HER fault for leaving the coop and not returning before he shut the door.

Of course he CLAIMS that for the last few WEEKS he had NO IDEA that we were opening the GATE a half hour before sunset to allow the SILLY ESCAPE CHICKENS TO RETURN.

Remember a few weeks ago when I could not figure out why they were escaping??? Well it was because the dum dums were flying OVER THE FENCE...but were unable to make the return trip.

so anyway....the opening of the fence WAS HIS SUGGESTION....WEEKS AGO!!!

So Don't listen to him....it's his fault.

On another note.....

I'm on the mend. I'm eating again and I resting, and even managed a nice long walk today. Yay for me. Thanks for the prayers. I'm still not sure if it was/is Norwalk, Stomach Flu, Salmonella. Who cares. It was bad. real bad and I don't think I'll be completely recovered for two weeks or so.
