What day is it?
No really...what day is it?
The good/bad part about my husband working shifts, and me staying home.
I went to a Seminar in Ottawa on the weekend. I had to ACTUALLY SET MY ALARM!!! I don't think I have done that since..since...well since my children were born!!
I had to be up before the chickens, drink my coffee, take a shower, and be on the road before the sun came up. I had to dress in casual business attire, and felt like I was off to work!! Coffee mug in hand, I kissed hubby and took off in my lip stick and heels. Tee Hee.
It was fun pretending, but no thanks on the doing it 5 days a week thing. I could not imagine dragging my babies out of bed and taking them to the sitters on top of that. I don't know how you moms do it.
I started to panic when I realized I would be stuck in rush hour traffic. Oh wait...it was Saturday! O.K so I'm a little out of practice ;)
So I'm back now (obviously), and tomorrow morning I'll be thinking of y'all rushing off in the dark when I'm sitting at my computer in my pink housecoat drinking my coffee while my children run around with underwear on their heads feeding cheerios to the cat.
I'll trade the lipstick and heels for that any day ;)

AMEN TO THAT!!!!
Me too!
What was your seminar on? Was it good?
Wow - completely jealous. Seriously....I'm normally on the road by 6:15....and yes - IT SUCKS. Fortunately my hubby drops the babe off....so I at least have that piece out of the equation.
I hear ya. Some mornings I'm just walking into my kitchen when I see my neighbour putting her son into their van to head off to daycare. Ugh! I suppose you'd get on a schedule but my kids would need to go to bed at 6 p.m. to get up that early and not be monsters :P
I must admit that I love not having to be up and ready early in the morning. It was bad enough last year having to have Katie ready for the bus stop at 7:30. Yea for afternoon kindergarten this year!!
I have to chuckle...my reaction was the exact same as Valleygirl! (-:
It was a Beauticontrol cosmetics conference/seminar. It was a Ton of fun and I love the products! I am going to have to hold a Spa day in my house for my friends so they can have fun with me!
