Searching for Spring

I've found a Robin in my Front Yard and Geese in my backyard.

Spring must be here SOMEWHERE!!

So...Let's venture out to see if we can find GREEN THINGS. Shall we?? The lady bug hunts INSIDE our house (no I'm not kidding) have lost their appeal and so now we head outside to stir up some springtime fun. Besides....I have no doubt there are more lady bugs in the windows just waiting for me to put the vacuum away before they come out.

AH HA!!! I KNEW WE WOULD FIND SOMETHING! OH GLORY DAYS.

LOOKS LIKE MY CHICKENS FEEL THE SAME WAY. THEY DARTED OUT OF THAT CHICKEN COOP AS SOON AS I OPENED THE DOOR. THEY WERE MORE THAN HAPPY TO PECK AT THE 3 BLADES OF GREEN GRASS POKING THROUGH.

What is this? It looks like a secret hideout in the forest that I seriously had no idea about. Seriously. I usually pride myself in knowing where everything is in the house. As they get older, I'm afraid there will be more and more that I 'discover' (sniffle sniffle).

Apparently I'm not allowed to be part of 'the club'. O.K then.

This is the 'spy window'. I bet it will look neat in the summer when the vines are covered in leaves. I was allowed in to take pictures...but that was it. Sheesh!!
