I'm a New Woman today

I drank my Chamomile and lavender Tea last night and fell into bed around 10:30pm DREADING the fact that my chances of being woken up by a crying baby in oh....1hr were pretty good.

Since my now 9 month baby has been up AT LEAST twice a night since birth my sleeplessness is pretty routine...and expected.

HOWEVER....

I received the MOST GLORIOUS PRESENT LAST NIGHT.

I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow and was awakened at...get this...

4:30am!!!!

yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy me!!!! yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Peyton! Yayyyyyyyy God!!

That is um...6 hours of uninterrupted sleep!!

And he was back down, and I was up for the day with him at 630am.

I feel like a new woman.

How sad is that. How Gloriously Sad ;)

That's awesome! Glad you finally got some much-needed rest! I remember those days and that's one of the biggest reasons I'm convinced we're done having more kids!!!! I don't do sleepless very well!

Please send me some of that good luck...today is a really tough one around here. If they weren't cute, they'd both be in the snowbank with "For Sale By Owner" t-shirts on.

No, no...not gloriously sad....gloriously BLESSED!!!!! :)

My 2 year old was (and continues to be) not the best sleeper, and I used to be up lots with her, too. Actually, most nights I'm up at least once, and even though she goes right back to sleep, it's still a sleep interuption.

But, yes, thank you Jesus for 6 hours uninterrupted!!! :o)
