Proud to be Frilly

I have a white flowing skirt that I love to wear in the summer. I've blogged about it before. See here for previous entry.
Anyway, this skirt makes me feel so feminine and fabulous. I think every woman should have a skirt like this one. All day long I have had a tune in my head. You know the one....I think it is a Reitmans commercial where plain Jane moms are strutting around like they are on the runway because they feel so darn...feminine and powerful. If you don't know the commercial just sing that ridiculous song from the 90's by the band Right Said Fred and picture yourself on the catwalk... yes on the Catwalk.

Yup that has been me all day. Strutting around while vacuuming and walking to get the mail in my fabulous white skirt singing the tune in my head. Because, well...I feel fabulous. Today I feel perfectly imperfect. I celebrate the body that God has given me. After all...he is perfect and must have had a good reason to create me the way he did. Who am I to question that?
So yes. Today I am loving all of me. Curvs,bumps,scars,grey hair,pimples...all of it.
Yup...I am grateful to Him for making me perfectly the way I am. I'm telling you it is this skirt that does it everytime. It reminds me that I'm a woman and that I should just celebrate that fact.

I guess you can say that I am Proud to be Frilly today :)

I am woman hear me roar....or is it bat my eyes ??? whatever... you get the point. I feel like a girl o.k? and a girly girl...and I'm celebrating it.

This skirt is definitely good for my marriage.
