I must have some energy today because I started to purge the house of everything I don't want to take to the next house. Yes that means old clothes, toys and things were sorted into Sell, donate and trash.
I have a long way to go before the house is completely free of crap I don't want to see anymore but I did make alot of progress. Just don't look in my basement because all you will see is piles and piles of well....stuff. It is all organized in my own little way though.
I figure I have two months before the baby comes and we move. Two months to slowly pack and get rid of stuff. I just have a feeling that I won't want to be packing when Peyton is two weeks old and we move. So slowly but surely will be the way to go. That way I don't get too tired or overwhelmed either.
I can't wait to start life in the new house. It will feel 'fresh'. We are only taking things we need or really love and get to leave the 'junk' behind.
My next door neighbor just moved the other day and dumped all his stuff on us. (That is where the Pogo sticks came from by the way). I don't mind free stuff but I can't see us using up 5 different flavors of mustard before we leave!! my goodness! He even left us a HUGE costco size bottle of balsamic vinegar to umm....give away as a present some day. If you get it for christmas this year you know where it came from ;)
Pray for Adam's safety as he travels through the worst snow storm of the season tonight. I need him to come home to me :)
nighty night
Alyson
