Empty cupboards, full hearts

I wonder how much longer I can go without grocery shopping. I think it has been two weeks so far. I know that because we have bought seven bags of milk since I have ventured out. We have been eating pretty well so far, just emptying our deep freezer. Tonight is roasted chicken, potatoes, and broccoli. Doesn't sound so bad to me!!
Adam has the day off today so I think he will get fed up and go for me :) The only problem with that is that we are out of EVERYTHING! and so I need to be specific about what I write down or it will mean two trips to the store.

Hmmm....for breakfast I am going to make myself some toast with peanut butter and a shake of frozen strawberries, orange juice and Greens (a powder with antioxidant grasses in it) I think it will go down o.k. Normally I would have a shake with strawberries, soy powder, banana and vanilla soy milk...of course we are out of three of the above.

We took our babysitter out for supper last night. She is such a good kid. We will be so sad to lose her when we leave. I really do hope she comes to stay with us next year to go to school. It would be a great transition for her, and company for me when Adam goes away for training.

I just won't think about that right now.
