This is Robert, my new calf. Isn't he cute? The white thing is his little hut that he will spend the next 6-8 weeks in. He is attached to it for now until he gets used to it. Then I'll let him come in and out as he pleases.
Robert needs 2 bottles of 'formula' a day.
He lets me pet him.
I like that.

Oooo, and does he suck on your arm or your sleeve or anything he can get his little mouth around?! My uncle used to have a dairy farm when I was a kid and I spent many happy hours feeding and "suckling" calves Robert's age, and usually ended up with a shirt full of calf GOB! It was awesome! There is nothing cuter!!!
(love the new look!!)
Aww-w-w-w - he is so cute!!
How cute! I had a baby caw named Rosie when I was little. I don't remember much except for feeding her with a big bottle.
Have fun!
Hes very cute.
He is adorable. Out of curiosity, what role will he play? Is he a new pet? Will he be used for furthering the cow population? Or will he (shudder) end up on someone's plate? Inquiring minds want to know how attached we in Blogland should become...
