So...what did we do?? A lot of sitting around actually ;)
We 'helped' Adam cut wood out back in the woods. We brought the whole gang, dog and grandma included.
We explored, ate snacks and checked out the old skating pond while my husband worked quite hard chopping and hauling wood.
I like to watch him work.
Meanwhile I played with my camera while the kids climbed all over the tractor and Erin rolled around in the fields.
After wood cutting, we had lunch, then headed straight into town to be in the Santa Claus parade.
Erin was an angel.
Lara was Mary.
I sat on the back of the float and sang carols. For those of you who have heard my angelic voice you are thinking really?? I hope other people drowned you out!!! No such luck....BUT....the marching band came in right behind us...I think it was a hint.
This is me saying goodbye to the cutest baby calf that accompanied us on the float. His name is Robert. He is red and white and is a week old. I bought him. He arrives Wednesday;)

You make me smile, Alyson
Awesome! Looks and sounds like fun. Glad to hear you're finally feeling like yourself again ~ and back to buying livestock!
Aww-w-w-w - great blog - lovely pics - and, it's nice to meet Robert.
Thank you! Hugs to all. . . .
Love the pictures!
Is Mary wearing a belly-dancing scarf on her head?
Your babes are cuteness personified.
