Friendship does not take work. It does not care if your house is messy. It does not care if your hair is a mess. It does not care if you are dressed up. It does not even care if you stay all day.
Friendship is easy. It is relaxing and fun. It is sharing a few laughs over a glass of wine and some appetizers. It is not selfish. It asks the other person how they are doing and allows them time to tell you.
Friendship is lounging on the sofa and kicking up your feet.
It is an evening of chat. It is 5 minutes for a drop in coffee.
Friendship is easy...and does not take much.
What it does take is priority at the top of your To-Do list....and it NEEDS to be crossed off at least once a month ;)
