Lessons of the Day

Note to self....

When planting seeds, make sure they are deep enough so the rain does not pound away at the dirt, exposing them....

Turn off the hose before entering the house...

Wetting hair and washing of face can only take the place of a shower for so long...

Make sure baby does not eat the Ant Dust sprinkled on the door frame...

When Clipping pretty flowers from outside put water in the vase...

As soon as floor is mopped expect at least one major spill of juice within 24hrs.

Ain't it the truth. There should be some sort of Murphy's law for mothering--especially out in the country!

I agree with Jessica ~ Murphy's Law for the country SAHM. You should write a book!

PS. I talk in miles all the time because everything out here on the flat prairie is measured that way. You know when you look at Google Maps on the "Satellite" feature, all those neat squares of farmland? Those are all based on square miles; all the divisions and roads were established LONG before the metric system came to Canada. Everyone still talks in acres, sections, bushels, and tons out on the prairies. No one's converted to metric, even though all the signage and labels have been that way since the 80's.
