Ugh, I SO know what you mean!! As much as I want to see the snow disappear, I sure do hate those mucky weeks!! I know once the girls get older, it won't be as much of an issue, but seriously, WHAT IS IT ABOUT KIDS AND MUD PUDDLES??!! Our church runs a thrift store and you pay, like, $0.50 for a T-shirt and pants, so I'm stocking up on grubby used clothing this year!! That way I won't care as much ~ and I won't have to do 3 loads of muddy, gravelly laundry every single day!
We don't have a proper mudroom right now. we will have to built one. Right now we either enter right into the kitchen, or into a very very old and dirty shed. I strip the kids in the kitchen and carry everything to the bathroom

Oh Muddy--the lovely harbinger of spring...
Do you have a shower in a mud room, or do they have to traipse through the house all the way into the bathroom?

LOL That was cute. We live in the south, but my kids get that muddy without melted snow. I hose them off outside.
