I'm working on a new song. I'm looking everywhere for Grandma got Run over by a Reindeer but I'm having trouble. Any other classic funny one I can look up?
Had a great time playing with the cousins yesterday. We miss them. In fact I miss company of all sorts these days. That is one downfall of living in the country in the winter. We need to travel to see other people, and being snowed in the last few days has not helped.
My husband will be home on Friday for an entire week!!! yay!! He has the idea of taking cookies and treats to all our neighbors. He says he is making the cookies :)
Today I am going to attempt to get all my Christmas grocery shopping done. The grocery store is never good around this time. I get so overwhelmed. Hmmm...I wonder if I can get things that will last a week. I'll just pick the stuff with the most pesticides :)
That is it for today. Peyton has made it into the hallway and is liking the heat grate.....gotta go.

What a great idea, making cookies and taking them to all your neighbours!! Very thoughtful! Yeah, having to drive to get anywhere is definitely a drawback to living in the country. So far, I think it's the only one, though!! And for a hermit like me, it's no big deal anyway. Good luck at the grocery store today!!
Here is one of our favourites Alyson:
Dominic the Italian Christmas Donkey by Lou Monte
(our kids love this song!!)
Also, Jingle Bells by the Barenaked Ladies...
We love the fun Christmas music too!
I think you as a family are going to have a fabulous week! Enjoy it!
Preservatives baby! Gotta love Country living! We too lived in the boondocks and ate a lot of canned fruits and veggies! Next year you can do your own.
