Christmas Hoopla

Tammi from Valley Girl tagged me in a random Christmas Hoopla bloggy thing.
So here are 12 Random things about Christmas that reflect me.

1) I love presents. I don't care what it is. I just like the idea that someone thought enough of me to give me one.

2) I always have present shopping remorse. I always regret what I buy and see something better after the fact.

3) My favorite memory as a child is walking in the snow around the block with my parents and brother and looking at the lights. It always ended in a loving 'face wash' by my brother. Ah the love.

4) On Christmas Eve we always lit candles and sat around and talked. It was nice.

5) Best present I ever received?? Hmmm oh! a skirt from my mother that I had returned to the store a few months earlier because it was an outrageous price and I decided to be responsible. She returned to the store and bought it for me. It was one of the only times I did not guess my present and was actualy surprised.

6)worst christmas??? None really. They all have special memories.

7)I love the song Feliz Navidad. Just saying the title causes the song to play over and over...and over in my head. Sorry Tammi.

8)Christmas morning my Dad would take a picture of us before coming downstairs. He would almost always capture us coming out of the bathroom. My mom hated that! She hated her picture being taken...let alone coming out of a bathroom!!

9)My kids this year are in their first christmas pagent. It is a Veggie Tales Christmas. They are french veggie peas dressed up as sheep. How cute and funny is that!!

10) My favorite part of christmas dinner is the stuffing. I could eat an entire plate of the stuff.

11) I really....really...don't like fruit cake.

12) I really...really...love my husband. O.K that does not have anything to do with Christmas. But too bad....it is true.

Now I am tagging my friend Kirsten. She has to write about 12 things about Christmas and call it Christmas Hoopla. Maybe it will make her atucally write a new post. I'm also tagging Pioneer Woman, but she will never read my entry and she is busy with the 4000 people who read her blog daily.
