A break for me

I love my kids....but sometimes Enough is Enough!!
I need a break. I need some time for myself. Some time to just do what ever I want for a couple of hours ( 8pm at night does not count)
How do I do that when I'm with them all week and the family time is on weekends?

First, your girlfriends take off to a trip to Toronto leaving their husbands and children behind...

Then her husband comes over with child because he is lonely...

Then you send your husband and your friends husband off on an aventure in the woods...

You have them take a wagon and load them up with children...

Then you wave Goodbye!!!

This is Jeremy in the back with the kids...see Val? you can have Four!!

Then you take pictures, wave and pretend you are going to miss them...

As they pull out of the driveway and turn onto the road you run inside and breathe a sigh of relief...then do WHATEVER YOU WANT!!

Thanks Valerie and Sara for taking off to Toronto so I can have a break...God really does work in mysterious ways doesn't he ;)

(my kids LOVE that kinda stuff!) and i hope you enjoyed your alone time!!! :) When i have free time...i never know if i should get things done like, cleaning, etc with that chance...or use it to read, cross stitch or just veg? You forgot to pack them a lunch!!!! They stay away even longer that way, you know! I hear ya with needing a break though. And I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who feels 'after bedtime' doesn't really count as ME time! Hmmmmm, maybe once everyone wakes up from their Sunday afternoon naps -- including hubby! -- I'll get him to take the girls for a nice long quad ride....

Hope you are enjoying your alone time! I could use some of that right about now too.

It looks like it's gorgeous where you live! Nothing like a wagon ride to make the kids happy.

The leaves are starting to fall here in Smallville but none have changed color. They just seem to shrivel up and fall off. Probably due to the lack of rain.
