I don't know if you can tell but my Hydrangea outside my internet window is turning to a beautiful pink from the original white...so pretty. It is a stark contrast from the THREE DEAD BIRDS THE CATS BROUGHT ME TODAY! Thanks Lacy..yes you are such a good kitty, yada yada yada...next time could you keep the head on it? Sorry I don't have a picture of them for you ;)
Anyhoo, I'm not sure where my day has gone. It is 730pm and I finally have a moment to myself. I have so much I want to do right now but it will have to wait. I NEED to just put my feet up on the couch. Paperwork and dusting is just going to have to wait a few days. I am too tired to bother. Oh!! I know where my day went...here is a little insight....
Three kids up at 545am
prepared and served 3 meals and 2 snacks and countless more breastfeedings
Did the household finances
2 baths
researched homeschooling material
baked muffins
cleared a path in the woods for the girls to explore further
checked e-mail, wrote blog
Took out garbage
2 loads of laundry hung out on line, folded and put away
learned how to cast on for my knitting
Changed diapers and wiped bums
discarded dead birds
Read for an hour to the kids
Did prayers and stories
Cleaned up after kids and supper dishes
took a shower and drank coffee at some point
visited with friend
pushed kids on swings
explored forest with kids
said goodbye to husband..oh, shaved his head before he left
umm....I'm sure there is more but I'm tired so I'll stop this.
You get the point...I'm tired.
At least I get to end my day with sleeping babies and gorgeous flowering plants outside of my window. Thank you Lord for these quiet moments.
Nighty night

I'm getting tired reading all about your full-full days! God Bless Mommas is all I can say!
Holy smokes! I'd be needing at least a day off after a day like that!! Whew. I'm impressed with myself when I accomplish about half that much.
I never did say it before, I don't think, but I think that's so awesome Adam was accepted by the Police College! Congrats to him!!
So are you completely husband-less during the week now? How are you finding that? (Of course, if you keep yourself busy like you did yesterday, you won't notice a thing!) I did a 2-month stint as a single mother last winter while Greg was ice-road trucking to the diamond mines up past Yellowknife, and it was tough in a way, but in some ways, things went a lot more smoothly when there was only one adult in the house!
I love the view from your window! Beautiful. I guess on the hard days, it is nice to see all of that beauty before you.
Keep up the hard work! It will not go un-noticed! Great job!!
