Share your Burdens

Wow God is amazing and He works in such incredible ways.
I had my blog all planned out for the day today. However I took one look at my coffee mug this morning and felt COMPELLED to change my post. So I did.
Then as I checked my e-mail and read my daily blogs I noticed that a few of my blogging friends were having a bad time and just needed to reach out.

THEN I went into the bathroom and picked up my KLove Daily bread and this was the title....

"Share each other's troubles and problems and obey the Law of Christ. Gal 6:2

I find it amazing how we all seem to go through some things at the same time. It may be a mood or a time in our lives that we need to share. That is what I love about the blogging community, and friends in general. God sends people in our lives to lift us up and support us. Our lives are not free of burden, and anyone who pretends to be all roses all the time is lying. So reach out...be honest...be real.

You never know who you are supporting with your kind words. I am grateful that I have family and friends to reach out to when I'm hurting, and I am so honored that I have friends that will reach out to me when in need. I am blessed today that God used me as a tool for support for some people I care about....thank you Lord for that. I am growing in Him and I see it happening.

I love this new blogging community that I've found and how close we all feel. I love being able to pray for their needs and know that they are praying for mine. It bothers me a little, though, that I know better how to pray for people I've never met, than for my own close friends who don't blog.

One thing I'm really trying to keep in mind though is that contact with my new unseen friends should never replace the contact I have with my physical friends, the ones I see regularly. I'm a homebody, and I think we're quite susceptible to that.
