A little bit or our day/week

All three kiddos were in bed tonight between 630-7pm..I could do something productive but really don't feel like it. I don't even have much to say tonight so I'll give you a little peek into our day today...

Doing well in our homeschooling journey this week. We are reviewing letters, reading, and writing skills for Lara and Erin is working on puzzles.

We are decorating for fall and so are doing some paper hand crafts, and will be doing some painting and mixing of fall colours this week.

The forest is slowly being cleared by me, and today Lara and Erin figured out how to attach a blanket to a tree to create a canopy...Lara learned how to get stuck in a tree...Don't ask...she is fine now.

We are baking this week. We made scones today for the first time. Tomorrow is bread day and Friday will be apple pie with apples from the local tree :)

I made soup today from scratch and I have to say that IT ACTUALLY TURNED OUT GREAT!!
You see I have NEVER made good soup....so it was a nice moment.

We walked down the road to get milk from the cooler. Just like I blogged about here...except my butt is smaller now :)

No I normally don't bake or cook so much. Last week I think we ate cereal most nights for supper. This week I feel like it..so there.

Peyton spent the day having terrible sleeps and puked all over himself for an hour. It was lovely.

Yup....that is pretty much it. Have a great day.

Sounds like you are having a great week, beside your son being sick. Hope he is feeling better soon.
What type of soup did you make? I like to make chicken corn soup, and veggie soup.
Enjoy that apple pie.

"This week I feel like it. So there." That's awesome!! I have days and weeks like that too, where I just don't care about cooking -- we usually end up eating crackers and cheese or Kraft Dinner those days, though!! I loved the post about how you get your milk, too. When I was a kid, we used to get milk from my uncle's farm and it was awesome. I especially loved it when mom made butter after skimming all the cream off the top.
