This is my little girl. So proud of herself that she can finally pump on her own on the swing.
This is the same girl who this morning is crying about well....EVERYTHING!!! seriously...go back to bed and start over. Wouldn't that be nice???
Anyway...we are heading over to a lady's place today to look at some egg laying chickens. Yup I said it...we may be raising our own chickens for eggs. After I see her and figure out what is involved I'll let you know.
This is about as exciting as the homemade apple pie I made last night from scratch with apples from a tree down the road.

Where do you get your time and energy from? I can't seem to get much of a supper on the table these days much less homemade apple pie! Good for you!
Have a good week.

PS Hmm, now I'm craving apple pie...
Greg keeps wanting us to do the chicken thing too, but so far he hasn't convinced me.
Mmmmmm, homemade apple pie! Yum! Good for you! I need to master pie crusts one of these days.
Chickens are stinky and it'll break your heart when some of the chicks don't make it (and the others peck them to death) but it does sound like it goes right along with your new lifestyle!
Dylan says to put the tea on, he'll be there after his night class for a piece of apple pie (his favourite).
Time? I'm not sure what that is anymore :)
There are only four...apparantly there is a 'pecking' order, but they don't hurt each other.
The meat chickens are raised down the road and Vera has never lost one!! weird I know.
sorry Dylan..the pie is all gone ;)
