A friend once told me that God sometimes gives us the things we ask for even if they are not good for us, and that way we learn to succumb to His will and not our own.....I hope in this case we prayed enough for God's will to be done that it is indeed because He has a plan for our lives ON THE FARM!!!!!!
Yes that is right. WE OWN THE HOUSE ON THE FARM!!!!!!!!
After alot of prayer and deliberation and number crunching we are proud owners of a circa 1800's farm that Adam's ancesters built when they came over from Scotland. Wow. We are happy but wow....a little nervous as this will be a huge step for us. O.K a huge step for me :)
I am sure that this will be the right thing for us and our family, and it does feels like we are 'coming home'.
So....please pray that we sell our house for a good price before the end of March. We don't close on the other home until June but I want to relax before our little Peyton is born at the end of April. He will be the seventh generation McNish boy to live on that farm. How wonderful.
I'll try to post a pic of our new 'homestead' as soon as I can.
Hmmm...we will have to give our little home a name just like they do in the novels Anne of Green Gables. A name that suits it and us just perfectly :)
