Took the girls skating for the first time yesterday. The weather was sunny and plus five and simply beautiful. Our city has a fantastic outdoor rink that is smooth and fun. We went in the morning so there was hardly anyone. The girls had fun....sort of. Erin could hardly stand up which was terribly hard on our backs, and Lara....well Lara walked around the ice. She managed to stand pretty well and even walk by herself on the ice. I think it was my mood yesterday but it was more of an exercise in my patience than anything. I'm sure the next time will be even better and eventually we will all skate together.
Still no snow here. Not complaining really. All our shopping is complete and we are just enjoying each others company. My fabulous baby sitter kidnapped our kids last night and brought them to her house across the street. Fine with me. She bathed them and fed them. Whatever rocks your boat I suppose. Adam and I went to old Navy and watched my hair turn really green in the light.
